You met the match! Thank you to donors who contributed to our $10,000 challenge in recent days and to Nancy and Nyle Maxwell who matched those donations dollar for dollar! That’s $20,000 going directly to our small business community…
We now have a new community challenge! Emerson will match the next $10,000 of donations! Please help us keep the support coming to our local small businesses. Round Rock helping Round Rock is what this community has done for years – please help make a difference for our small businesses and their employees!
Welcome to Round Rock Cares…
The City of Round Rock, the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation, the Round Rock Chamber and Dell Technologies are pleased to announce their new collaboration to assist our small business community.
Round Rock Cares is a fund designed to support our small business in these uncertain times. The entire community of Round Rock is very concerned about the impact the COVID19 virus is having on our economy, our small business community and their employees. While the long-term effects are unknown, community leaders recognize the need for immediate assistance. Together, they have established this community fund to provide financial assistance to locally owned businesses in Round Rock allocating financial resources as quickly and as directly as possible to help bridge the gap to sustainability and future government funding.
To establish this fund, the City of Round Rock, the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation, the Round Rock Chamber and Dell Technologies have each donated $25,000 to open this fund with $100,000. We welcome and encourage the citizens of Round Rock and the general public to support their local businesses and grow this fund with a donation of their choosing.
On behalf of the City, the Foundation, the Chamber and Dell Technologies, thank you! Round Rock has always been community minded in making good things happen for our neighbors. Please join us now as our small business community needs us now more than ever!
