Round Rock Cares is a charitable fund managed by the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation

“Community is much more than belonging to something; it’s about doing something together that makes belonging matter.”

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

Thank you

Round Rock!

You proved we are a community that takes care of each other!  Round Rock Cares began on March 25, 2020, and since that short time ago, over $400,000 has been donated to support our small business community. We are proud to say that your contributions provided financial relief to over 160 businesses in Round Rock.

Judging by the thank you notes we have received from those businesses, we can tell you there is deep gratitude for your generosity.

Round Rock Cares is now closed due to Williamson County receiving substantial federal funding for small business support.  Anyone interested in additional funding should apply for the Wilco Forward Small Business Grant Program at www.wilco.org.

None of this could have been possible without the original collaboration between the City of Round Rock, Dell Technologies, the Round Rock Chamber and the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation who each contributed the seed money to establish Round Rock Cares.  Our sincerest thanks go to everyone with these organizations who made this great effort possible.

We want to also especially thank:

 Emerson Automation Systems

RBank

Nancy & Nyle Maxwell

for their grant challenges that energized this community. We are thankful to say that each of their $10,000 grant challenges was met by generous Round Rock citizens.

Which brings us back to you…words cannot express the depth of gratitude for each donor who contributed to Round Rock Cares. Your generosity towards a neighbor during a time when it is not necessarily easy to give, is a testament to the great humanity of this city. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

“Community is much more than belonging to something; it’s about doing something together that makes belonging matter.”
