The Greater Round Rock Community Foundation is excited to announce our first ever Legacy Luncheon to be held on

Wednesday, September 25th at 11:30am

at St. William Catholic Church in the Parish Evangelization Center

This inaugural event will put the spotlight on philanthropy in our community by honoring non-profits, volunteers and the businesses who generously support them. The spirit of this event is to shine light on the quiet, but critical work being done every day to help those in need. Our hope is that this will be an annual event for many years to come that will bring our community together and remind us of the good work being done by so many. We hope that you will join us in this endeavor and be part of something we hope will be a lasting tradition.

Three awards will be given during the luncheon 

  1. The Nancy Rabb Business of the Year Award which will honor an outstanding business known for their charitable giving and desire to give back to this community in much the same way this award’s namesake continually did. As CEO of Wag A Bag, Nancy Rabb dedicated her life to helping others in a meaningful way. She was a founding member of the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation and we are proud to honor her legacy with this award.

     

  2. The Unsung Hero Award which will recognize an exceptional community volunteer who embodies selflessness and leadership in their dedication to support local nonprofits with their gifts of time and talent. Local nonprofits will be asked to submit nominations for this award.

     

  3. The Impact Award which will honor the Nonprofit of the Year. This award will be given to a nonprofit who is changing our community in an impactful way and making a significant difference to the lives of those in need. Because the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation exists to connect the ideals of philanthropy with those in need, we couldn’t think of a better way to honor our core mission than to have our sponsors be involved in giving back as well. Our top-level sponsors will have the opportunity to present the awards and all sponsors will have the opportunity to be part of the event.
